Garbage Collector (GC)
A downloadable game
Controls
You can pick up objects with a mouse click. While holding the click, you can move the object around freely. During this time, use the mouse wheel to adjust the distance between the object and yourself. Releasing the mouse click will drop the object.
Game Overview
The world no longer flows with time.
Within this halted system, all that remains are fragments of the past — memories.
You are the last administrator of this world, the Collector,
tasked with sorting through the broken data and incinerating unnecessary memories.
But even in a world where time has stopped, overload continues to build.
Undeleted data presses against the system,
and in the end, that weight becomes too much for even eternity to bear.
Gameplay
Round Structure
Each round consists of multiple falling phases. Scan, collect, and incinerate the broken objects endlessly descending from beyond the ceiling.
Until every object is processed, the system loops in a frozen repetition.
Memory Management System
The more unprocessed objects remain, the higher the memory usage — and the lower the stability. When the system reaches its limit, the screen fills with noise, and the frozen world begins to collapse under the pressure of its own timelessness.
Round End
Once all data has been cleared, the round ends, and the system regains temporary stability. But perfect order is an illusion —
the remnants will always fall again.
Review System
After each round, the system evaluates your performance.
A well-maintained system receives praise,
while one pushed to its limits earns only cold, unforgiving reviews.
Those reviews are more than simple text —
they are the way this timeless world remembers you.
